‘Jurassic World 2’ Director J.A. Bayona Getting Ready to Roll the Cameras as Casting is Slowly Being Finalized

It is still not clear how this Lucy character will figure into the lives of returning characters, Claire Dearing and Owen Grady.

Though he is up with a formidable task of taking the reins of the franchise’s successful reboot from Colin Trevorrow, J.A. Bayona seems confident.

He is the director of the movies “A Monster Calls” and “The Impossible.” Although Colin Trevorrow has moved on to work on “Star Wars Episode 9,” he is still helping out in different ways.

In a recent interview, Trevorrow said that he has been working closely with J.A. in listening to instincts, and honing the script with Derek Connolly for “Jurassic World 2” to make sure that it would be something that all of them believes in.

Trevorrow said that he thinks that the general audience is going to be down to explore where else the movie can go. So it is possible that it may go the route of “Jurassic Park: The Lost World” where a T-Rex got loose in San Diego, California.

He said that one thing that they can assure fans is that “Jurassic World 2” is going to be more suspenseful and scary because that is the way it was designed and how the story plays out.
