Fans of Jurassic World are elated. The fourth instalment of Michael Crichton’s popular sci-fi film, Jurassic Park 4 or Jurassic World, as it is being called, has been announced. With the news about the expected plots and characters, the fans of the popular film series can’t control their excitement.
A new poster of Jurassic World was released. The poster is black in colour, with a well-known sign of Jurassic Park in the middle of it, in steel-grey. The words “The Park is Open” appears below it. The fans of the series know that Spielberg breathes life into his creations and this time helping him with the script are Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, the writers of Rise of the Planets of the Apes.
The trailer was to be shown with Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, but it has been pushed back now.
Jurassic World will incorporate a refreshing new take on the Jurassic Park’s old setting. The poster and the feel of it seem promising. There have been numerous rumours regarding Jurassic World, but none of them have been officially confirmed yet, except one. The film will introduce a fictional dinosaur Diabolus Rex.
The movie starts with Isla Nubla’s famous Jurassic Park entering its 22nd year. However, it hardly attracts any visitors. The crowd is more interested in taking selfies instead of admiring and learning about the ancient creatures exhibited at the Jurassic World, as it is now called. Worried about their dwindling popularity, the scientists plan to create a major tourist attraction.
This is cue enough for Henry Wu to make an entry. Henry Wu is a character that fans of the original series are familiar with. Wu comes up with the Diabolus Rex, a new dinosaur created by spicing the genes of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Velociraptor, a Cuttlefish and a snake.
What the scientists end up creating is a creature that can’t be controlled, and Jurassic World is thrown into a major chaos.
There are rumours that the dinosaurs of Jurassic World will be tamed. Actor Chris Pratt portrays the role of an expert in Velociraptor behaviour. He works closely with the animals, which have muzzles so that they aren’t dangerous.
A leaked trailer description revealed that Great Whites were being fed to the enormous sea Dinosaurs. This gives rise to possibilities that the other dinosaurs in Jurassic World might be tame enough to be used against the threat of the Diabolus Rex.
There are also rumours that Henry Wu might be eaten up alive by one of the Velociraptor that he has created.
