Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married in private ceremonies on February 3 at the actor’s private island called Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas.
The nuptials were attended by 50 guests including the two children of Johnny Depp with French singer Vanessa Paradis, his girlfriend for 14 years. The children were Lily Rose and Jack.
Apparently, as his wedding gift to his new wife, the 51-year-old actor gave her his luxurious yacht that was previously name “Vajoliroja” and is now called the “Amphitrite,” reports the Franchise Herald.
“Vajoliroja” was taken from the names of Vanessa, Johnny, Lily Rose and Jack, indicating that the yacht was a hand-me down. “Amphitrie” on the other hand is an ancient Greek queen of the sea. It’s a name that is also close to Amber so that makes the luxurious yacht officially hers.
In addition to the yacht, Johnny Depp also gave his newly-wedded wife a male and female Shetland ponies.
A wedding gift from the ex
And speaking of wedding gift, Vanessa Paradise actually sent Johnny and Amber a wedding gift since she was not invited at all to the wedding.
Reports have it that Paradis gave Johnny and Amber a toaster for a wedding gift. But it’s no ordinary toaster because it was actually a revenge toaster. Sources said that the toaster came with a message that says: ‘You’re as boring, bland, and predictable as watching a slice of toast.’
Neither Johnny nor Amber refuse to make a comment about the wedding gift from Vanessa to confirm, deny, or respond to her wedding message to her ex-boyfriend.
Not that Vanessa was sour-graping about the whole thing, but she was actually spotted in Los Angeles kissing her new boyfriend Benjamin Biolay just a few days after the wedding of Johnny and Amber. She was reportedly attempting to make the public notice as if saying that anything that Johnny can do, she can do better.
Injured and changed actor
Last week, Johnny Depp had to cut short his filming for the fifth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie franchise at the Gold Coast in Australia after injuring his left hand, requiring minor surgery.
Depp returned to LA to undergo the minor surgery and also find time to heal and recuperate while beside his 28-year-old wife.
The actor was a non-believer of marriage. His union with Amber actually had him eating all his previous words against marriage. Apart from being branding it as just a piece of paper, Depp has previously said that two people in love do not need somebody to tell them that: “Okay, you’re married.”
Johnny also believes that marriage is really from soul to soul and heart to heart of two people in love. But all those thoughts no longer apply as he tied the knot with Amber, proving again that love can really change a person and his views.
I remember seeing a pic of his RIGHT hand all bandaged up not his left. And seriously, for Johnny to give the jinx aka Amber the yacht that once belonged to his real family, is a total as**ole move. Idk how you can recycle a gift like that when it actually stood for something real. His hyprocracy knows no bounds since he got with the jinx lol he’s become one of his wierdo characters, thats for sure.
The more I hear about johnny giving Amber Heard extravagant gifts the more I think he is buying his love. What has she given him we never hear about gifts she has given johnny. Johnny should have had her sign a prenuptial for his children’s sake. His kids should always be in his best interest it’s not fair. And you think Amber would think that as well, hasn’t he given her enough gifts worth millions. I notice since they have been together she’s been getting better roles because of johnny depps Hollywood status. Before RUM DIARIES I never even heard of her before, and she was in that film because of johnny. She was in Drive Angry that is a terrible Movie. Well what people will do for fame and fortune. And she left her girlfriend all of a sudden so her gay side will resurface eventually. Hopefully for johnny Depps sake the marriage will last for a while he is so in love. But because of age difference usually the marriage or relationship does not last. Look at Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse and of course Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
I totally agree with the person above me,idk how much everything on the internet is true,giving away that yacht was a total douche bag move in my opinion.but if jinx gave johnny a ultimatum to fix his funky,well I’m sorry to say she is no real woman.because no real woman would give the man she loves a ultimatium.I’d rather be a funky than a phoney! Js I would have annulled the marriage as soon as I heard that bs! Vanessa is right,boring dull and predictable…
