Despite all the allegations that Amber’s jealousy issues are causing their marriage to fall apart, the couple were recently sighted in a charity event in Brazil, putting rumors to bed that the two are in a rocky relationship.
According to US Weekly, the couple helped distribute hearing aids to hundreds in need before Depp performed with the Hollywood Vampires in Rock in Rio.
Entertainment Tonight uploaded a video of the charity event that showed “The Ward” actress holding back her tears while getting a hug from one of the recipients who’s crying because of the aid she received.
The couple, who was there in partnership with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, was very much emotional as they help fit the Brazilian with their new hearing aid devices.
The couple has announced their involvement with the charity event since August. The foundation provides more than 100,000 hearing aids each year to those who are in need.
Speaking to Associated Press, Heard said that that particular day was very moving and touching for her. She recalls that seeing the patients light up as they start to hear something is an incomparable feeling.
Depp echoes his wife’s sentiments and says that to be able to help these people, the kids, in particular, is completely amazing.
