Johnny Depp recently admitted having some concerns with his teenage daughter Lily Rose for her fast-moving career in fashion and film.
The 16-year-old, whose mother is a model and French native Vanessa Paradis, landed her first major modeling campaign last July as the new face of the Chanel eyewear. The blonde beauty is also currently the face of Vogue Paris.
The 52-year-old actor and Lily Rose’s mom separated in 2012 after 14 years of living together. The two also share another son, 13-year-old Jack. Depp is now married to 29-year-old actress Amber Heard.
Lily Rose was welcomed in the world of fashion after attending a Chanel show in New York earlier this year. She then made her first public appearance decked in the luxury label’s wares at a catwalk event.
Speaking to Germany’s Gala magazine, Depp confessed that being a normal father as he is, he’s quite worried for her daughter because she’s entering the fashion and entertainment industry at such a young age.
But the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor says that it’s her daughter’s passion and as long as she’s having fun, he will be there to support her. Lily Rose’s career is already rising. She is set to star in two movies already, one in which she will star with her father and another in which she will star alongside Natalie Portman.
As for Johnny, the Golden Globe winner was spotted making music with his Hollywood Vampires bandmates Alice Cooper and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry at Brazil’s Rock in Rio festival, the Daily Mail reports.
The “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” actor is currently earning excellent reviews for his performance of gangster James ‘Whitey’ Bulger in Scott Cooper’s “Black Mass.”
The Boston-based biopic, which premiered last month, had already earned $49.1 million at the box office. The crime film also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Dakota Johnson, Peter Sarsgaard, and Juno Temple.
The “Rango” actor is now married for eight months with Amber Heard. The two met while filming “The Rum Diary.” They began dating in 2012 and after three years they decided to tie the knot in a private ceremony in their home in Los Angeles.
While it is a known fact that Depp never married the mother of his children whom he spent 14 years with, a lot were surprised when the Tim Burton favorite decided to get hitched.
However, reports say that Depp and Heard’s marriage are facing a turmoil due to the latter’s controlling attitude and jealousy issues. According to the Franchise Herald, Depp was forced to sell his luxury yacht, named after his former partner, because Amber doesn’t want to climb aboard it.
According to US Weekly, the “Sweeney Todd” actor is doing everything he can to please his model wife. The “Magic Mike XXL” star may have a problem with Paradis, but she is evidently cool with her step-children. Reports claim that Amber keeps on saying how great Jack and Lily Rose are and that the two have a good relationship with her as their stepmom.
Further fueling rumors that Johnny and Amber are having marital issues was a report from OK! Magazine claiming that the couple started to argue after the “Drive Angry” actress saw her husband chatting with a young woman during the Toronto International Film Festival last month for the international premiere of “Black Mass.”
The magazine reports that during the film festival, Amber saw her husband talking to a younger woman to which she stormed over and tried to butt in. However, Depp reportedly kept talking forcing Heard to pull her husband away.
Insiders reveal that Johnny talked to Amber like a child to calm her down that night. Obviously it worked because sources say that when they came back, they were holding hands and Mrs. Depp was already in all smiles.
