Jessica might even be feeling unconfident about her place in the grand scheme of things, unsure if she’s an actual hero or just someone who found herself in the right (wrong?) set of circumstances.
This is also a classic struggle for many superhero characters, so it could be a nice way for the producers to continue exploring her in a way that’s more familiar to fans of similar stories. After all, despite the fact that “Jessica Jones” have been quite original in its storytelling so far, the producers will still have to use some more traditional techniques if they want to keep the show accessible to everyone.
Discussions about season 2 are already very interesting in some parts of the show’s community, and that’s without having much information about the next episodes at all. We can only imagine how things will develop once the producers start revealing some details.
And hopefully they aren’t going to take too long for that, as they will definitely need to maintain a fine balance of hype and mystery in order to keep everyone interested for the next half a year. It will be a long wait until season 2 arrives, but it can definitely be made less bothersome for the show’s dedicated fans with enough attention from the producers. Netflix also know how to promote their shows though, so we have no doubt that things will work out smoothly.
