The good person and professional ballplayer that he is, Jeremy Lin recently took to Reddit to express his message for the Charlotte Hornets just hours after signing a deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
Lin thanked the Hornets organization and his teammates for embracing him last year, which he considers as his most enjoyable season to date with the NBA.
He said in jest that a big part of that was because of the Hornets fans who showed up with Mohawks like him, referring to the kids in particular.
He added that it was awesome for him to be a part of a season that surpassed expectations and brought the city its first playoff win in years. Lin said that he will always cherish his time in Charlotte but he could not pass up the opportunity to continue seeing what he does as a basketball player, notes For The Win.
He ended his long message by saying ‘Thank you Buzz City!’
Subsequently, he posted on his Twitter and Instagram accounts a picture of himself wearing a No. 7 jersey for the Brooklyn Nets with the team logo as a background. He wrote that his journey continues and that he is thankful for the next chapter before ending it with a hashtag #Godisgood.
