Even though Lin was averaging under 27 minutes a game through the first five in Brooklyn, he was scoring at a 15.0 mpg clip, which was better even than his 14.6 average during Linsanity, with the Knicks. This was even better than the 13.4 he averaged as an 82-game starter (32.2 mpg) his initial year in Houston.
In the latest interview broadcasted live on Facebook, between the Brooklyn Nets Sarah Kustok and Sean Marks. The session comprised questions about the Nets’ start at the 2016-17 season, surprises and disappointments so far, and questions from Nets’ season ticket holders.
While discussing the disappointments, Mark said that he was not sure if there were too many disappointments, but he did find the tragic injuries suffered by the teammates, namely that suffered by Jeremy, which caused the Brooklyn Nets to lose their star player.
Mark also mentioned in the interview that Jeremy is one of the most competitive people he has met and that he(Jeremy) is too keen to prove everybody wrong by returning to the game soon, and that concerned the General Manger, who advised him sternly against doing any such thing to take his time to heal properly first.
