Papercity actually thinks that with his current production, importance to the team, and potentials, Jeremy Lin is actually far outperforming his contract that he is obviously one of the most, if not the most underpaid player in the NBA today. The sad thing is that those critics who were saying that he was overpaid previously are not giving him any credit or recognition for his sacrifice.
Lin has certainly turned the tables on his critics and they appear to have shut their mouths for the time being until perhaps the Taiwanese-American player goes into limbo yet again the way he did under coaches Kevin McHale and Byron Scott.
Now, it is becoming clear that the problem is not with Jeremy Lin but his past coaches because they obviously do not know how to maximize the potential of the guy. Instead of putting him on something that he is not comfortable doing, they should have just allowed Lin to play his game the way Clifford is doing now. And so far, Lin is contributing big-time to the Hornets’ cause. In fact, the .500 record of Charlotte after eight games into the season is a first after a long, long while.
That is probably the reason why the Hornets fans and team owner Michael Jordan are smiling a lot these days. The team has obviously made the right decision in getting Jeremy Lin, and for a bargain too.
