Previously, Lin was ranked at the 100th spot overall by ESPN, and while his last year was less than stellar, many people expect to see great things from him during this season. It’s still early to say what will happen but Lin has already been making good progress, so this looks promising.
If nothing else, at least he will make a name for himself more successfully than he did last year, something which will be very important for him in the future as well.
Because while we don’t know what team he’ll continue his career on, it will be quite critical for him to become a prominent name in the sport so he can get plenty of good contract offers later on.
Otherwise, he might find himself stuck in a hard place as he’s trying to figure out which team to join, with options that might not be ideal for his requirements. It would be sad to see Jeremy Lin not utilizing the potential he has to his fullest, so hopefully the player will perform better this season than he did in his last, and we’re going to see him continue in a way that really works well for him once the next season rolls around, and in the ones beyond that too.
