Jennifer Lopez has made it to two of the top five best Latin performances on TV in 2015, according to Billboard.
While there is still a few days to go before 2015 comes to a wrap, there is no longer a major Latin performance scheduled on TV in the next two weeks which is why Billboard already came out with its Top 5 list.
JLo’s tribute to the late Latina singer Selena during the Latin Billboard Music Awards 2015 made it to the list. The event saw JLo delivering an emotional and unique performance. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event seeing Jennifer Lopez next to Selena’s family as she paid tribute to the slain singer, 20 years after her death.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer was also cited in the list for her performance early this year in “American Idol” along with fellow Latin performers, Prince Royce and Pitbull.
The Top 5 list also includes the performance of Nicky Jam during the Premios Juventud 2015 that also saw some of his well-known friends including Balvin, Arcangel, de la Ghetto, and Zion.
Juanes also made it to the list when he sang for Pope Francis during the holy man’s massive appearance in Philadelphia.
And then, there is also Daddy Yankee who kicked off the Latin AMA 2015 with a performance that made the event a very memorable evening for all attendees and viewers alike.
Billboard also said that it picked the five best Latin performances on TV during the year but did not rank them accordingly so it is up to fans to decide which they think was the best during the year.
In great shape in LA
Jennifer Lopez was spotted taking a stroll in Los Angeles on December 13. As she was wearing a semi-sheer roll neck jumper and tight denim jeans, she was obviously showcasing her incredible body and famous derriere.
The 46-year-old “On the Floor” singer opted for a casual yet racy look that surely highlighted her hour-glass figure.
Completing her get-up that emphasized her great body shape and famous curves, JLo wore a pair of black, over-the-knee suede stiletto boots, details the Daily Mail.
She also accessorized her wardrobe with a black handbag and a collection of sparkling diamond encrusted jewelry. She also wore a pair of wide-framed sunglasses.
Jennifer Lopez also had her brown hair scraped off of her face in a severe bun and she was wearing very minimal make-up too.
Fit of jealousy
If reports are true that Casper Smart went ballistics against Jennifer Lopez and accused her of having a secret affair with her former fiancé P. Diddy, then the rumors that the couple is close to splitting or have already split may have a leg to stand on.
Immediately after hosting the American Music Awards on November 22, JLo threw an after party where her former flame, Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, attended. While her 28-year-old boyfriend Casper was at the party, Jennifer Lopez has openly flirted with her ex, according to reports.
While Casper did not say a word during the party, he was guns ablazing on his girlfriend and reportedly went as far as accusing her of cheating on him with Sean Combs.
According to a source, Casper insisted that JLo’s actions during the party were clear indications that something romantic is going on between her and the rapper behind-the-scenes.
The same source added that what was meant to be a fun evening for JLo and Casper ended badly for both of them. He did play it cool during the party and in front of the cameras but when they got home; it was an entirely different story.
JLo reportedly retorted to Casper’s blabbering by pointing out that he was acting like a jealous child. She explained to her boyfriend that she and P. Diddy were just friends and that there is no sexual chemistry between them.
The insider, however, disclosed that Casper’s going ballistics may have been much ado about nothing as P. Diddy apparently went to the party not just to see JLo but more importantly, to promote his brand of Vodka, named Ciroc.
The same insider explained that JLo and Sean Combs will always be very special to each other and had they gotten together at a different time and the shooting did not happen, they would have been married now with kids.
