Contrary to rumors that triple threat celebrity Jennifer Lopez is getting back together again with her former husband Marc Anthony and also with former fiancé Ben Affleck, after dumping erstwhile boyfriend Casper Smart, it is actually Canadian rapper Drake whom JLo dates at the moment.
Last week, the 47-year-old Lopez confirmed that she and Drake were dating when she posted a picture of herself and Drake on her Instagram page where she is being cuddled up by the rapper.
She captioned her Instagram post by asking her follower who rolled up to her show tonight in Las Vegas to say hi. Aside from the picture itself, one of the hashtags she included in the Instagram post was the clincher as it clearly said it all. The three hashtags that JLo used were #lovehim, #jlovegas, and #ALLIHAVE.
Apparently, Drake paid a visit to JLo’s Las Vegas residency last week at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino twice, reports News.com.au.
Green with jealousy?
While most fans of JLo and the 30-year-old Drake are happy about the blossoming relationship between the two music artists, it seems that Rihanna does not take it very well.
After JLo posted the cozy image of herself and Drake, Rihanna has reportedly unfollowed the “Booty” singer on Instagram.
Fans and critics have keenly noted that the ‘Work” singer has stopped following Jennifer Lopez during the Christmas holiday weekend, or just a few days after JLo confirmed that she and Drake are dating.
Rihanna and Drake only recently ended their long drawn out love affair which at one point saw the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker declare his love for her at the MTV Music Awards in August.
But with the action of Rihanna to unfollow JLo on Instagram, many fans and critics are saying that the “Umbrella” singer may be feeling a bit of jealousy, without really admitting anything.
It can be recalled that JLo and Rihanna worked together as voice actors for the animated movie “Home,” where JLo’s character is the mother of Riri’s character.
Earlier this year, Rihanna gifted JLo with a pair of navy boots from her design collaboration with Manolo Blahnik. In a note, Rihanna wrote: “To the baddest, because I know you’re going to wear them better than me!!!”
Having fun together
A source close to JLo and Drake disclosed recently that the music artists have tried to keep their romance under wraps by suggesting they are just working together, but the truth is they are an item.
Apparently, they have been seeing each other for a number of weeks already and her friends are saying she is already smitten. The age gap doesn’t bother them too because they are having fun together, which is all that matters to them.
However, sources close to Rihanna are claiming that the “FourFiveSeconds” singer is very unhappy about the romance between Jennifer Lopez and Drake.
Meanwhile, rapper Funkmaster Flex believes that Drake is just dating JLo to get back at his rival P Diddy, who happens to be an ex-boyfriend of JLo. Drake and P Diddy have a long-standing feud
Funkmaster Flex claims that the romance could be an act of revenge. He particularly noted that the loved-up picture that was posted on JLo’s Instagram was made on the anniversary of a New York shooting that saw Diddy and JLo caught up in the back on December 27, 1999.
Both JLo and Diddy were arrested with Diddy’s then-protege Shyne later convicted and sentenced to 10 years. The couple split shortly after the shocking incident, details the Mirror of UK.
