The first ever United Nations Global Advocate for Girls and Women is also preparing for her upcoming TV series “Shades of Blue.” The series is expected to air during the 2016-17 television season on NBC.
Earlier this year, the network announced that they ordered a 13-episode order for the television drama, in which JLo will star and also serve as its executive producer. “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest is also on board the series as a producer.
In the upcoming TV series, the “Boy Next Door” star will portray a single mother and police detective who goes undercover for the FBI to investigate her own squad.
Along with the release of her own fragrance “Glow” and “JLuxe,” she has also revealed her plans to release a Christmas album followed by a second Spanish-language album.
Her latest album titled “A.K.A.” was released last year and her last Spanish-language studio album “Como Ama Una Majer” was released way back in 2007.
But it looks like her plans might take a while to materialize as the singer has plenty on her plate at the moment. Jennifer is set to star in the comedy film “Mothers I’d Like To…,” for which she will also serve as a producer through her production company.
