There is no truth to the rumors that circulated a few weeks ago that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have gotten back together again after the “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” actor recently broke up with his wife of 10 years, Jennifer Garner.
The rumors started swirling around in October when Affleck and Lopez were supposedly spotted kissing and showing plenty of PDAs that were even caught on cameras.
The tabloid report also added that once Jennifer Garner sees the photos where her former husband and his former fiancée are sharing intimate moments, it would surely break her heart. A source close to Garner was even quoted as saying that the photos will surely add to her wounds that were caused by her recent breakup with Ben.
The report further said that the images and videos that it was able to get its hands on show the 46-year-old Jennifer Lopez and the 43-year-old Ben Affleck hugging and kissing in front of her family and friends.
One of the videos of the two accordingly shows them locking lips while sitting in the jacuzzi. Closer Weekly describes that Ben and JLo were inseparable in the video as they hugged and kissed and looked so much in love.
An insider disclosed that Ben and Jen could not keep their hands off each other during a steamy romp in the hot tub under the stars even in the presence of other people.
Eventually, it was revealed that the pictures and the videos were actually taken when Affleck and Lopez were still dating more than 10 years ago before each of them got married to different partners.
Jumping on the story
For the obvious reason of trying to put one better over its competition, one tabloid milked the story about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez getting back together again when in fact what JLo offered to her former flame is a shoulder to cry on.
Jennifer has already experienced going through a divorce with her former husband Marc Anthony that also involved their twins Max and Emme so she knows the feeling.
Ben is likely to go through the same and it involves not just two but three kids that he and Jennifer Garner shared. It would be tough for both of them but as a former lover and a good friend too, JLo offered herself to Ben to give him worthy pieces of advice on how to go about everything.
Unfortunately, the tabloid decided to put a spin to the story and blowing it out of proportion by including their pictures of yore.
And true enough, the photos and videos that the tabloid was referring to were from the days when the two were still dating from 2002 to 2004.
But rather than dignifying the rumors, both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez decided to keep their mouths shut, busying themselves instead on their respective projects which have been keeping them busy as of late.
Spending Thanksgiving together
It seems unlikely also that Bennifer is back since the 46-year-old “Booty” singer and her 28-year-old on-again off-again beau Casper Smart, are said to be planning to spend the upcoming Thanksgiving together at Casper’s family place in Mexico, reports In Touch Weekly.
A source close to the couple said that all of the relatives of both Casper and Jen are hoping that the rekindling of their romance finally works because they will all be thrilled if the two got married one day.
The source added that Jen has already met Casper’s mother and grandmother as well as his other relatives and they were all vouching for her because they absolutely love her.
