Jennifer Lawrence had a belated birthday party and Kris Jenner became her surprise visitor. “The Hunger Games” star, whose real birthday was on August 15, was surprised by her friends on August 21 at a private home in Hollywood and got the reality show matriarch to celebrate with them. The 25-year-old actress is admittedly a fan of the E! reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” as well as other reality shows like “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
To reciprocate the appreciation thrown at her, Kris Jenner then posted on Instagram a photo of her and the “Silver Linings Playbook” actress snuggling in bed. The photo was snapped by Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble and the unlikely twosome were shown donning black outfits, holding books, and looked shocked as they were caught in the act of getting cozy with each other. Kris Jenner’s caption indicates that the two had a blast from the night they spent together.
According to People, during the party the two got along so well and Jennifer was laughing all night long. Sources say the 59-year-old matriarch gave a speech in honor of Lawrence and even invited her to the FYF Fest the following weekend, which Kris Jenner’s son-in-law Kanye West will be headlining.
The Oscar-winning actress’ belated birthday party happened a few weeks after she and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have called it quits again. But their break-up seemingly hasn’t slowed down the newly-single Lawrence. A few weeks ago, she was spotted enjoying her vacation in the Hamptons with Amy Schumer. A day shy of her party, Martin was also spotted in New York City with British actress Annabelle Wallis.
Aside from Kris Jenner as her special guest during her surprise birthday party, Jennifer has a lot to celebrate. Despite her rocky relationship with the Coldplay’s lead vocalist, the 25-year-old actress has topped the list for the world’s highest paid actress in 2015.

Following her is Scarlett Johansson who earned $35.5 million. “Spy” actress Melissa McCarthy grabs the 3rd spot with $23 million. Despite the broader valuations this year, only one non-American made the list: Chinese native Bingbing Fan, who ranks 4th with $21 million of earnings.
Forbes reports that for the first time ever, the ranking for the world’s highest-paid leading ladies has broken boundaries to truly create a global list of the actresses’ earnings. Based on an analysis, most of the names in the list are mainstays who make fewer movies but still earn a lot from endorsements.
A clear example would be “Friends” alum Jennifer Aniston, whose earnings mostly come from her endorsements with Aveeno, SmartWater, and Living Proof. The same goes with Julia Roberts who makes her way back to the rankings this year. The “Notting Hill” star banked $16 million this year thanks to deals with Lancome, Givenchy, and Calzedonia. Meanwhile, last year’s top-earning actress Sandra Bullock saw her earnings drop to $8 million from $51 million in just a year.
With the final installment of The Hunger Games” franchise, which undoubtedly skyrocketed JLaw’s career, slated this November, it looks like the actress is bound to keep her spot next year. “The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 2” will be released on November 20 and as part of the 100-day countdown before the final film premieres, the team behind the trilogy released a poster for the fourth film a few days ago but the reception wasn’t what they expected as the image sparked a controversy.
The poster features Katniss Everdeen’s face with the words saying there are only 100 days left before the movie. The poster drew attention not because it excited fans but because it apparently sends a different message with the layout.
