Back then, the actress wanted to speak up against certain rumors that have been going around about her, and she generated some serious discussions on the scene after making her revelations. Some of her fans are probably still discussing the implications of some of those statements today, in fact.
It seemed like Aniston was a bit disappointed with the current state of the industry with regards to how it treats women, but she hasn’t made any further statements on that topic since then. It’s not clear if her attitude towards that has changed or if her desire to work in the industry is simply too strong and overcomes her negative feelings about it.
In the end though, we hope that Aniston will be able to make the strong comeback that many of her fans are waiting for. The actress should still have a lot of potential to realize, and we expect to see great things from her if she joins the screen once again. How long it will take for that to happen is hard to tell, but she should definitely take her time and assess her situation well enough.
