There are plenty of other things to focus in life that can be just as important, according to her statement, and some people prioritize them more than others.
She also disagrees that she’s being selfish for not having a child, and she’s content with her own decisions. However, she also stated that the public pressure does get to her in some ways, as she has found herself feeling stressed out over the criticism she’s receiving. She further talked about her views on feminism, and how she thinks modern society is misrepresenting its ideas and what it stands for. According to Aniston, it’s as simple as promoting equality between genders.
The main point that Aniston wanted to make with the interview is that she’s not “too career-driven for her own good”, as some have been portraying her lately, but rather has different priorities in her life than many other people. She stated that she would continue to promote her current lifestyle, and despite feeling pressured to change it, she feels that she’s on the right track and she’s happy with the way things are going for her right now.
