Jennifer Aniston turned 46 years old on February 11. Instead of throwing a lavish and celebrity-studded birthday bash that actress of her stature normally do, she celebrated it with close friends in a bowling alley inside Hollywood’s legendary Roosevelt Hotel.
A US magazine reported that Jen made a pretty laidback celebration of her birthday at the Spare Room bowling alley of Roosevelt Hotel along with her fiancé Justin Theroux and several close friends, details Yahoo! News.
Among those celebrity-friends who celebrated with her are Courteney Cox, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Jimmy Kimmel, Molly NcNearney, Malin Akerman, Isla Fisher, Sacha Baron Cohen, Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Meyer, Ken Marino, Amy Adams, and Lake Bell.
The party began at 9 pm and the group reportedly enjoyed their hearts out playing Backgammon, cards, chess, Monopoly and dominoes in addition to playing bowling of course.
The celebration ended at 1 am and everyone went home happy and satisfied having attended a laidback birthday celebration for a change.
Expensive for a pretty laidback celebration
Despite referring to her birthday celebration as pretty laidback, Jennifer Aniston actually spent a good amount of money for the gig at the Spare Room of Roosevelt Hotel.
She reportedly spent more than $5,000 for the event inclusive of the use of the two-lane bowling alley, a bar, a photo booth, and other top-notch game and bar amenities.
Jennifer has all the right reasons to celebrate her 46th birthday this year with her finace and close friends in Hollywood. She was already nominated twice for best actress this year for her performance in the drama film, titled “Cake” – one at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the other at the Golden Globes.
She and fiancé Justin, who have announced their engagement nearly three years ago are reportedly planning to tie the knot very soon after they agreed to the terms and signed a pre-nuptial agreement.
Financial considerations and implications
The issue of money and finances are very important to the couple since Jennifer’s net worth is nearly eight times more compared to that of Justin’s. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jennifer’s fortune is now pegged at $150 million while Justin’s wealth is about $20 million to date.
After a series of discussion, the couple has reportedly come to an agreement as Justin finally scaled down his demands. Theroux was said to have suggested a $2 million cheating clause on the pre-nup agreement, which means that anyone of them who cheat during their marriage would pay $2 million to the offended party. But the proposal was already taken off the table, a source close to the couple said.
As part of the pre-nup agreement, if and when the marriage ends, Jennifer Aniston is bound to pay Justin Theroux a sum of $1.54 million.
