The phrase “every cloud has a silver lining” seems to be valid in all walks of life, celebrities included – recently, Selena Gomez had a major falling out with her boyfriend Justin Bieber, which lead to some public drama – but it also seems to be doing some good for the female star. Recently, she has been seen sharing a deep, emotional hug with major Hollywood celebrity Jennifer Aniston, and it seems that the two have been getting quite close following the relationship issues of Gomez.
This isn’t that surprising though, as there has been a connection between the two stars before, in one way or another. According to Selena Gomez, Jennifer Anniston has been a major idol for her ever since she was eight years old, and has been a big source of inspiration in her life. Gomez was apparently very touched by her interaction with Aniston, as she expressed her joy on Instagram later on. According to her post, the event managed to make her entire year.
It has been reported before that Jennifer Aniston is acting as a sort of mentor for Selena Gomez, at least with regards to her love life – and she has been giving her advice on how to deal with Justin Bieber’s increasingly obnoxious and immature behavior.
Meanwhile, Bieber seems to be continuing on his downward spiral into problems with the law and his public image, although the singer isn’t showing any signs of caring about his situation. If anything, he’s apparently enjoying the notoriety his behavior has brought him, and has been using the opportunity to consider becoming a cage fighter.
Selena Gomez seems to be going the right way after her fallout with Bieber, on the other hand – and most people who have been following the lives of both celebrities closely have been commenting that Gomez certainly has a lot to gain from listening to Aniston’s advice on how to move on with her life. It’s not known how deep the two’s relationship will continue and whether they will continue displaying affection publicly, although fans of both stars have certainly been hopeful for something like this to happen.
In fact, some messaging boards have gone as far as to discuss the possibility of the two starring together in a production, although it’s kind of difficult to imagine that happening right now, given the schedules of both. It would certainly be an interesting event to see though, and it’s pretty much guaranteed to generate significant amounts of hype, given the large fan bases of both actresses and the number of people who would be interested in seeing a collaboration of this type.
