Some are actually speculating that the Wagoneer is exactly what Jeep are going to focus on in order to dominate this market segment, but the company has been giving indications of the opposite, so it’s not very likely that this is the case. As we pointed out above, the new release will be in a different market segment altogether.
Jeep will have to keep their information flow tightly controlled in the coming months, as all this interest on their new unannounced upcoming release is guaranteed to put a lot of attention on them, and with that, the risk of leaks is going to go up.
But of course, even a leak doesn’t have to be a bad thing if it comes out at the right time, as it can greatly add to the overall hype levels. It likely won’t take too long before Jeep start revealing information about the model themselves though, provided they plan to release it in a reasonable period of time, e.g. within the next couple of years.
