In most of his movies, Jason Statham tends to kick a little butt to the bad guys he faces and that is just what he is known for. The 47-year old actor has been in some of the hardest hitting movies since 1999 and according to recent news, he will be coming back to the Fast and Furious cast for the 7th installment to the movie series. The movie is expected to be having a premiere in April of next year and up until then, we are going to be hearing a lot of speculation and rumors about the movie.
The spoilers and trailers that have been posted all over the web show Jason Statham as the newest villain in the upcoming movie. At the end of the last movie, Jason Statham was seen in a cameo as the brother of Owen Shaw. Owen Shaw was killed in the 6th movie by Vin Diesel’s character along with the rest of the crew and now, Ian Shaw played by Jason Statham is out to avenge his brother.
On the official Facebook page of Fast and Furious 7, a movie still was posted that showed Jason Statham in character looking rather vengeful. That combination is sure to bring plenty of action and violence along with the typical super fast car racing. Jason Statham is going to be after someone in the movie and the odds are that most of his focus will be on Dominic Toretto, played by Diesel.
All of the Fast and Furious movies have been high in action and violence and it looks like that is not going to slow down at this time. Other stills from the movie have been posted to social media and one even shows Jason Statham’s character in a brawl with Luke Hobbs, who is played by The Rock. This is a good indication that he will have to go through whomever gets in his way to get revenge for his brother. According to one rumor site, the movie series might even see the addition of veteran, Kurt Russell after a movie still showed up online.
Fast and Furious 7 is due out this upcoming Spring season and it is likely to get the same attention the last 4 or 5 movies did. It is unclear if it will get the same amount of attention that the last two got, but there is plenty of followers otherwise the director and producer would not have gone through the trouble of making a 7th movie.
