A still from the upcoming movie, Fast and Furious 7, has been released on its official Facebook page. It reveals our favorite Jason Statham behind the wheels with a tantalizing caption, ‘Jason is ready and you?’ The complete text printed on the image reads, ‘You don’t know me, but you are about to’. Jason Statham plays the character of Ian Shaw while sporting a stern look in this recent photo. He is wearing a Black T-shirt covered by a Black Jacket.
This is not the first time we have seen a Statham’s movie still release on Facebook. Previously, we saw him standing alongside the car and looking at someone else. In Fast and Furious 7, Jason Statham as Ian Shaw is planning to take down the family/gang of Dominic Toretto. He made his first appearance in the post-credit scenes of Fast and Furious 6.
We saw him getting out of his car and calling up Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel. He warns Dom that he is coming for him. It is revealed that Ian is behind the death of Han, one of Toretto’s prominent gang members. From the looks of it, he will take revenge for the death of his brother, Ian Shaw, in Fast and Furious 6 which was played by Luke Evans. Statham is quite excited with this upcoming film. According to him, in a recent interview with Screen Rant, there is ‘nothing better than the car stuff’. Yes, Jason, we all know about Transporter movies!
He further praised the entire cast for the upcoming Fast and Furious title, specifically Vin Diesel. It will be the first time that Statham plays a full-fledged role in a Fast and Furious movie. James Wan is the director of Fast and Furious 7, eminently known for directing films like that of ‘Saw’ and ‘The Conjuring’.
Fans will get to see Brian O’ Connor as Paul Walker for the last time in Fast and Furious. His character will decide to retire in this movie. In a pathetic turn out of events, Paul Walker died last year in a car accident. The official name for this upcoming film is Furious 7 and is scheduled to release on movie theaters in April 2015. Other cast members include Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ludacris, and Jordana Brewster.
In the meantime, Vin Diesel, who plays the role Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious movies, has recently uploaded a video on his Facebook Page. In this video, Diesel seems to be having a great time on the beach, dancing amidst a group of bikini-clad women. Sporting a pair of white trunks and black shades while carrying something in his hand, he shows us his moves.
