There has been no confirmation of sort or anything at all from Director Zack Snyder of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” or Director David Ayer of “Suicide Squad” or Warner Bros about the latest theory on Jared Leto’s The Joker character so this is just mere speculation at this time and clearly should be taken with a fine grain of salt.
According to the more astute DC fans, they have noticed clues in both upcoming films that tie Jared Leto’s The Joker character to the deceased Robin and to Jason Todd’s more villainous iteration.
After breaking down the “Suicide Squad” trailer frame-by-frame, the same keen observing fans believe that Jared Leto’s line ‘Oh, I’m not gonna kill ‘ya. I’m just gonna hurt you really, really bad’ is directed more to Dr. Harlan Quinzel, played by Margot Robbie before he tortures her and reprograms her as Harley Quinn.
With that being said, it is possible that Harley’s transformation as an off-kilter villain was the result of torture. Fans believe that Jared Leto’s The Joker character could have suffered the same fate in the hands of the original The Joker.
The real story to these very interesting finding or theory could only be known by next year when both “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and the “Suicide Squad” finally hit theaters to its hugely-anticipating throngs of moviegoers.
