All in all, the new film is going to take a more realistic approach to its storytelling, something which could have a very interesting impact on how the characters are portrayed. It’s based on comic books so that kind of clashes with the idea of seriousness, and yet on the other hand those comic books weren’t exactly aimed at little children either.
Various prominent actors are going to take part in the new production and it’s shaping up to be a very interesting one filled with a lot of excitement and drama, and it looks like the producers really are trying to push the limits of their characters as far as they can.
There is still a long time to go before the film is ready though – nearly one year to be precise – and a lot can happen until then, including the release of additional information in the form of leaks and hints from the cast members.
But with all this attention focused on Jared Leto and his portrayal of the iconic Joker, it might turn out that the producers have another ace up their sleeve that they aren’t telling us about, and something else is going to be revealed that shakes everyone up. It would certainly fit well with the overall style of the production that we’ve seen so far, and it would make fans quite excited.
