Jared Leto has previously claimed that he’s been having trouble getting into shape for his role as the Joker, wanting to put on even more weight, but from what we can tell, he certainly doesn’t seem to have any issues in this regard so far. He has been showing off the results of his workout routine for Suicide Squad while out and about for a bike ride with an unknown female companion, as the two of them strolled around Central Park.
Leto was pretty easy to spot and immediately attracted a lot of attention, as his green hair and toned body stood out quite easily. Heads were turning as people wanted to make sure that they were right about who they thought they were seeing, and he wasn’t really shy about showing off his well developed body from his gym efforts.
It’s pretty obvious that he’s been following a very strict workout routine surrounding the Suicide Squad, and we’ll likely see him sporting an even more impressive body soon enough if he continues in the same way. For the time being though, he’s been enjoying a little rest and relaxation away from his hard work and his constant training, and we can tell that he’s deserved it all the way.
Earlier in the month, he had to shoot a scene that was quite intense on many levels, featuring lots of kissing, fighting and shooting, all for a flashback with Dr. Harleen Quinzel, played by Margot Robbie. So far, the film has been shaping up very interesting from what we can see released publicly, and we’re very excited to see where things will go next.
Jared Leto still has some work to go on his transformation into the Joker, but he’s getting there – and he’s obviously quite persistent, or else he wouldn’t have achieved results so quickly. There have been some criticisms regarding his appearance when the first pictures of him as the Joker leaked to the Internet, but there was some misunderstanding in that, and in the end it turned out that he actually fits the role quite nicely and does a great Joker.
Before he’s truly ready to show off his appearance as the iconic villain though, he still has a lot of weight to put on, and he’s been having a meal every few hours according to him. This has apparently not been an easy feat for the actor, as he’s not that fond of eating and he’s been finding it challenging to keep up with his new diet plan.
