Jared Leto Fans Felt Cheated With The Little Screen Space That Joker Enjoyed, Extended Trailer Revealed Edited Scenes!

Suicide Squad was a disappointment for the fans of Jared Leto. They had anticipated that Leto’s Joker would share a large chunk of the screen space, but things were different in reality. Fans were disappointed that such an iconic character from the DC Comic universe would be placed on the sidelines.

Fans soon realized that most of the sequences with Joker in it, was edited out of the final film. While clamoring to find these footages, they realized that not many were readily available. However, there are quite a lot of videos circulating on the internet, which when placed together, makes sense to the larger scheme of things.

AV Club reported that most of Jared Leto’s scenes were edited out of the picture since the tone of Suicide Squad became lighter and less violent. However, there is no denying that Jared Leto captivated the attention of the fans with his appearance and continues to do so, as the Joker.

Joker is by far the most iconic super villain, and the role of the character has captivated cine-goers for a long time. Famous actors have gone ahead to immortalize the character and Jared Leto didn’t leave any stones unturned to make sure that he did justice to the character after the legendary performance of Heath Ledger.

Mark Hamill, who plays the role of Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise spoke up about the character of Joker. Hamill has played the role of Joker in cartoons and animated films and he spoke about his take on the Jared Leto’s Joker.

According to International Business Times, Hamill loved Jared Leto’s performance as the Joker. He also added that he is yet to see an actor’s rendition of Joker that he didn’t appreciate. Hamill made it clear that every actor played Joker in a different manner and it would be wrong to compare them.

Nicholas Cage played Joker differently from how Heath Ledger played it, and Jared Leto was entirely distinct from these two in his performance of Joker in Suicide Squad. Jared Leto was brilliant in Suicide Squad, but he was wasted in the film and was reduced to a walk-on.

Fans had heard of Jared Leto behaving oddly during the shoot of Suicide Squad. David Ayer, the director of Suicide Squad, said that Jared Leto said goodbye to his self and embraced the Joker during the shoot.

Leto recently opened up about his experience of playing the character of the iconic villain. He said that when he took up the role of Joker, he realized that everyone knew the character and there wasn’t anything hidden about him.

However, he was determined to explore a side of the character that other’s might have missed or had interpreted differently. Since the character had been interpreted so many times, Leto kept wondering what else could be uncovered in the Joker.

He realized that if he had to play the Joker differently, he would have to get into the skin of the character and dive deep. Jared Leto knew that he would have to head to a place he has never been in before, and it would be difficult coming out of that zone, but he took the plunge nonetheless.

Gizmodo reported that Jared Leto is an inherently nice guy and he had to shed this identity if he had to make the Joker work. The Joker wouldn’t be someone who could be called a good guy. Jared Leto started behaving like the Joker at the set and had asked people not to address him as Jared even in between shots.
