Now that filming for the movie “Suicide Squad” based on DC Comics is through, Jared Leto is also through playing The Joker, a performance where he was highly acclaimed for being in-character all the way.
In addition to “Suicide Squad,” Jared Leto as The Joker shall also be appearing in the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” to hit theaters on March 25.
It appears that Jared Leto is also through with his contractual obligations as far as promotions of the two upcoming Warner Bros movies are concerned that he decided to finally let go of his The Joker character and go back to his usual self.
As part of his return to normal, Leto ditched his hot pink mane, which was previously chopped, bleached, and dyed green for his role as The Joker in favor of his original chestnut brown hair, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
It was actually Carrera which posted Leto’s new look on Instagram on January 15 as part of the brand’s spring 2016 campaign.
Leto’s return to his au-naturale color might likely be a prelude to the actor’s intention to grow back his hair again. Obviously, there is no one better who sports a man bun like Jared Leto can
Of course, his intense, icy blue eyes are still one of his best assets because of its rather paralyzing effects which is why the Italian brand chose him to star in the promotion campaign for their Maverick aviator style shades. Leto complemented his look in the campaign with a black fur trimmed hoodie for a modern take on Tom Cruise’s appearance during his “Top Gun” days.
Jared Leto’s full campaign images will officially debut later this month, as part of Carrera’s 60th anniversary celebration.
Happy to have his original hair color back
It seems that Jared Leto is happy to have his original hair color back as the 44-year-old actor also took to his Snapchat account to flaunt his dark hair, notes Just Jared.
Leto, who is also the frontman for the 30 Seconds to Mars band, will be appearing in “Suicide Squad” as The Joker along with other stars including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, and several others. The movie will hit theaters in August this year.
After sporting his green hair as The Joker while filming “Suicide Squad,” he eventually debuted a bright pink hair at 2015 Video Music Awards held on August 30 in Los Angeles, California.
Now, it seems that his days of fooling around with his hair color is over as he seems content on having his original chestnut brown hair color back in harness on top of his head.
Not a joker when it comes to music
Jared Leto may have taken on the role of The Joker in his next two movies for Warner Bros showing this year – “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” – but he does not joke often when it comes to his music and the music industry.
But he is certainly updated on the goings on as well as the future plans of some, if not many of his colleagues in the music industry.
During the two-day iHeartRadio Music Festival held in September last year, a number of A-list music artists performed before the crowd at the MGM Grand Arena including the likes of Sam Smith, Demi Lovato, Coldplay, Kanye West, among other big name musicmakers.
But before each artist performed, they were introduced by equally popular celebrities. Kanye West was given the honor to do the closing remarks for the show but it was Jared Leto who was tasked to introduce him.
