Rose believes that out of the 13 contestants competing on Season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, Laurie Hernandez is getting the special treatment. Rose feels that Good Morning America’s casting of 16-year-old Hernandez in the top spot while announcing the lineup for Dancing with the Stars Season 23 is a good enough reason for her allegations.
American gymnast and Olympic gold medal winner Laurie Hernandez and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy, along with American competitive swimmer and 12-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte and his partner Cheryl Burke have been chosen to represent Season 23 of Dancing with the Stars. This move didn’t go down well with Amber Rose, and she has been making it evident.
Amber Rose isn’t the only one with an issue regarding the Olympic athletes. The premiere episode of Dancing with the Stars Season 23 saw two anti-Ryan Lochte demonstrators storm into the stage. The live broadcast continued when the security swiftly tackled the protestors. In spite of being arrested, the protesters justified their action of barging into the stage.
The demonstrators believe that Lochte and two other members of the US Olympic swimming team should be taught a lesson for embarrassing Americans through their actions during a night out in Rio de Janeiro. The protestors said that Lochte is a criminal by Brazilian law, and the average citizen should be made aware of this.
Despite these feelings and sentiments, the show continues. Stay tuned for more news on Dancing with the Stars Season 23.
