James Bond is the world’s most stylish secret agent. Bond owes his origin to the creative mind of the novelist Ian Fleming, who first created him in his Second World spy fiction, Casino Royale. Fleming’s novels were popular, but it was the Bond movies that brought the character into the public eye. Bond is associated with fast cars and girls and exciting gadgets.
The new James Bond film, James Bond 24 or Spectre has already created hype among fans, especially car aficionados. Bond movies are always known for the stylish and iconic cars, and this film is supposed to showcase James Bond driving an Aston Martin DB10. Not only this, the Jaguar C-X75, a concept car that was showcased at the Paris Auto Show back in 2010, will be driven by Bond’s nemesis.
The Bond franchise is reputed for making use of rare cars in the films. All the vehicles used, enjoy the advertising platform provided by the films.
James Bond 24 is going to have Daniel Craig reprising the role of James Bond. He is going to be joined by Christopher Waltz, who will play the role of Bond’s German speaking nemesis, Oberhauser. The film will also star Andrew Scott, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista.
Andrew Scott, who is known for his role as Moriarty in BBC’s Sherlock, will play the role of an MI5 employee called Denbigh. Bautista, who is a well-known WWE star is set to portray the character of Mr. Hinx, a henchman. The film will see Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci play the role of the Bond girls, Madeleine Swann, and Lucia Sciarra, respectively.
Specter will be played by Skyfall director, Sam Mendes. The screenplay will be written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and John Logan. The film is set to shoot in numerous locations around the world, including London, Rome, Morocco, Mexico City and Austrian Alps.
The film was hit after some details were leaked following the Sony cyber attack and since then the production house has not been very forthcoming about any details of the films. The last James Bond film, Skyfall, had Adele singing Skyfall, which became an instant success. Keeping with the reputation associated with the James Bond film’s theme track, there is still much debate about who would sing it.
There are rumors that Rihanna, Sam Smith, and Adele are being considered for the theme track. If inside info is to be believed, Sam Smith is the preferred choice.
There is a rumor that James Bond 24 might be Daniel Craig’s last James Bond film. There has been no official word on this from the actor or the production house.
