The car gets a brand new side profile since some of the doors have been removed, and a faux air vent has been installed, which completely changes the side of the car. The rear end of the car has also been worked on in the convertible. The tail lamps for the convertible have been taken from the Chevrolet Spark, and twin exhausts have also been added in the end.
The convertible includes a canvas top, which can be pulled down to reveal the real charm of the small convertible. The car has been given brand new wheels. The bottom comes with a metal luggage rack.
The interior of the revamped. The interior is in black and contrasts the bright red exterior. The interior has gear knobs, HVAC vents, a sports steering wheel and seats suited for a sports car. The interior is also equipped with an advanced entertainment system and an LCD head unit.
For those interested in purchasing a Maruti 800 convertible, the price will be around 3-4 lakhs. KS Design uses the 2006-2008 model of the Maruti 800. While there isn’t any confirmation on when the manufacturing will start, but it will be at least three months before the first car rolls out.
