With the brand new feature, users can now broadcast live videos anytime they want. All that needs to be done is swipe into the stories camera and then choose ‘Live’ mode.
You can pin comments and if you are worried about trolls, turn them off completely. You can maintain privacy by hiding the videos from people who you don’t like. You can also control which comments can make it to your live video and which ones get to appear on your feed. Simply go to Profile, then Comments and choose between two options.
You can hide comments that are abusive or offensive. At the same time, you can add your keywords which will flag and hide the comments.
In case you don’t wish to be interrupted by people who are going live, you can mute them, similar to how one can mute people’s statuses on Facebook. You just have to hold down on their profile photo at the top of your Instagram feed, and a pop-up window will be displayed, consequently allowing you to mute them.
