Failing a driver’s test probably isn’t the end of the world, but from the looks of it, things seem to be like that for Jaden Smith. The 18-year old son of Will Smith took to Instagram Live last week so as to share this unfortunate piece of news with his loving fans along with the dismay of informing his father about it.
While sitting in a car at the Department of Motor Vehicles Centre, Smith said that it was going to be very funny to tell his dad that he straight up failed in the test. The teen then started talking about how he was planning to move out of Los Angeles because he failed the test. He also informed that no one is supporting his creativity so he would move to Los Angeles for some ‘inspirational shit.’
He continued that one should create the life that one wants for themselves and that nobody should try to be somebody else. These days, it is hard to create the life we want for ourselves since there is nobody here who supports the youth or their creativity. Meanwhile, users on Twitter joked that he had an existential crisis.
However, like many young people before him, Jaden failed the driving test, and he went on and let the whole world know about it through a specifically dramatic post. He also declared that he would be moving out of LA.
During his rant, he decided to switch gears and started wondering for a social media platform like Instagram Live. He continued, asking what Instagram Live is? Why is it that scientists aren’t using Instagram Live, but he is? Also, why aren’t people using Instagram Live to cure cancer?
Why are they not Instagram Live-ing about peace? He said that it made no sense and that nothing in this life makes any sense at all. He also asks why are they not Instagram Live-ing and saving people’s lives? They are simply sitting there on Instagram, being distracted by everything. They are not even focusing on their lives.
They simply do it for the purpose of escaping. According to him, people go on Instagram Live to think about the fact that nobody wishes to support the creativities of youth. Nobody wishes to give us the support system that will be better for the world. Go ahead and check out his full Live video and see if you can make something out of it.
Overall, for all the young people feeling disheartened about failing a driver’s test, there’s no need to do all that. Jaden Smith will make you feel a lot better about the whole issue. Poor Jaden might have gone off his license and failed to acquire it, but that didn’t dampen his spirits at all…? However, he didn’t take the news so well.
Instead of going straight into denial, however, he posted an Instagram Live Video from outside the DMV carpark while talking about his experience. The sad thing was that he looked quite depressed about the whole thing, but at the same time, he was trying to be as brave as possible, churning out the hottest philosophical thoughts of the century.
It seems from all the hardships he faced; some wisdom managed to come out of it. At one point, he went a little meta and started questioning the existence of Instagram Live. Sadly, he isn’t over the test outcome yet. He even planned to move out of L.A, bless his soul! Good news is, there’s a lesson to learn for all the people following Jay. When you fail your test at DMV, simply go by Jaden’s wisdom.
