This was confirmed by Indian actor Sonu Suod, who is the co-actor of Jackie Chan in the movie. The Mumbai-based actor posted on Twitter saying that filming of “Kung Fu Yoga” was already a wrap.
He considers working with the international superstar as a life-changing experience and commended Jackie Chan for being the most grounded man ever amid his global popularity.
Suod also said that filming for the movie was completed within its 150-day schedule. The cast members subsequently gave the Chinese media the first look at “Kung Fu Yoga” early in June through a scheduled press conference in Shanghai.
Highlighting the event was the debut of the first official trailer of “Kung Fu Yoga,” which was met with positive response.
The Indian actor also said that apart from having a great time, he also learned a lot from Jackie Chan. He added that working on “Kung Fu Yoga” also helped him maintain his persona as a fitness buff.
He also narrated that when they were filming with Jackie, they would keep doing something or the other, like martial arts, stretching, and other activities the whole day.
“Kung Fu Yoga” is actually the first of three films from the agreement signed between India and China during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India early last year.
