Fans got a glimpse of Liv Moore’s dominatrix look in “iZombie” Season 3 courtesy of Rose McIver herself. On Tuesday, the 27-year-old actress took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself wearing her costume as dominatrix Liv.
In the photo, Liv is donning a black leather jacket on top of a black dress. She’s also holding a black whip in her left hand. It looks like dominatrix Liv will be far-fetched from the Liv everybody knew from the past two seasons of “iZombie.”
Earlier last week, McIver also revealed via an Instagram clip that she will be eating the dominatrix brain by the season’s fifth episode. The effect of it, however, will last for more episodes and it will be something interesting for the fans, the actress says.
During the San Diego ComicCon in July, executive producers Rob Thomas and Dianne Ruggerio-Wright revealed that Liv is going to eat a dominatrix brain in the upcoming season.
Reports suggest that Liv’s new personality will apparently backfire on Ravi which will lead to the zombie electrifying Ravi using electric wires.
McIver also shared a photo on Twitter with her and Kohli’s face in pain because he has a couple of electric wires clipped to his chest.
The New Zealand native has been actively posting photos on her social media behind the scenes photos of the season.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly last month, Thomas says that Rahul Kohli’s Ravi will stumble upon a recipe to make zombie visions more vivid and longer lasting.
As for the cure, Ravi will be busy perfecting it throughout the season, but Thomas states that if a cure is found then it means that it’s the end of the show.
Reports suggest that fans can expect a lot of test runs with little success and perhaps more shocking side effects.
Aside from looking for the cure, Ravi will also be busy fighting with David Anders’ Blaine for the heart of Aly Michalka’s Peyton.
To recall, the two gentlemen tried to save Peyton, but only one of them risked his life for her — Blaine, making Ravi obviously jealous.
Ecumenical News reports that Peyton will be having a hard time to choose between the two. Speaking to Showbiz Junkies, Michalka says that Peyton and Ravi have that solid friendship, but she’s also physically attracted to Blaine so it will be hard for her to choose.
Aly says that her character’s attraction to Blaine might be because they are total opposites. She also says that things will definitely change when Ravi finally confesses her feelings to Peyton.
Meanwhile, “Veronica Mars” alums Ken Marino and Daran Norris, and Ryan Devlin will be making guest appearances in episode 6 of the third season of “iZombie.”
During the ComicCon, the series creators already revealed that “Veronica Mars” alum Eddie Jemison will be returning to “iZombie” as Seattle’s leading crime lord, Mr. Boss.
However, as much as Mr. Boss had an essential role last season, the show won’t get to him until later in the season. Thomas revealed the news via sharing a photo on his Twitter page.
The series creator, who’s worked with the two actors in The CW hit, shared a photo of himself with Marino and Norris on set along with director Enrico Colantino, Dan Etheridge, and John Enborn, who all worked on “Veronica Mars.”
Marino made his debut on The CW series in Season 2’s episode 18 while Norris first appeared as Johnny Frost in the pilot and reprised his role in two more episodes. McIver also posted a photo on Instagram wherein she is sandwiched by Norris and Marino.
