iZombie Season 2 has been very interesting to watch since it started back in October. If you remember anything about the American television series and season one, you know exactly what to expect. The show was picked up by the CW network and is an adaption of the comic book which bares the same name. The first season started in May of 2014 and it has been a wild ride since then. It was announced in May of this year that the show would be renewed for a second season.
The first season was given a thirteen episode order, which is what happened with the second. However, only one month into the second season, the network ordered another six episodes, for a grand total of nineteen episodes for the second season. In case you are not away, or you did not read the comic book back in the day, the show is centered around “Liv” Moore and her being turned into a zombie at a boat party.
Just like most of the other zombies stories out there Liv has an appetite for brains and that is why she takes a job at a morgue. The story could not get any more obvious than that, but on top of sharing her love for brains with her boss, Liv also takes on some personality traits from each brain that she eats. That is another story line in itself, but the more interesting part of the show is the fact that she then has quick flashbacks about how the person died allowing her to help the local police in Seattle to solve the crime.
The show is just coming away from its mid-season break and the spoilers and rumors have not slowed down one bit online. iZombie Season 2, episode 10 was called “Method Head” and it can be streamed online this week if you missed it as the show came back on the twelfth. Besides the show getting back into the swing of things after the short winter break, there is some information that only loyal fans would appreciate.
That information includes the fact that show creator, Rob Thomas, had a conversation with an actress from another popular television series you might remember, Veronica Mars. If you have ever seen Veronica Mars, then you noticed that there have already been at least two other cameos from that shoe on iZombie. Percy Daggs III and Ryan Hansen are the two that made it onto iZombie, but there has reportedly been talks of a third. They third person is Kristen Bell. She was Veronica Mars for three seasons and it appears that she will be on the next episode entitled “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter”.
