The ZenFone line of smartphones by Asus have been quite successful so far, not just on the Android market but as a whole, and people are excited to see what the ZenFone 3 will bring once it’s released. There is certainly a lot of speculation about the device, and some people are making some bold predictions about what the phone will feature, but no matter which rumors turn out to be true in the end, the device should definitely be a good package of features for its price.
One of the most recent reports we’ve gotten is that the ZenFone 3 will come with a fingerprint scanner for added security. This would make it another device in the smartphone market coming out with this feature recently, as fingerprint sensors have been getting more and more prominent in the world of smartphones.
It’s probably not a bad thing either, as security has been becoming a major issue with mobile devices, not just smartphones but tablets as well. The more security-conscious users that we start seeing, the better – and when everyone has easy and convenient access to utilities to lock down their devices more easily, then we should definitely start seeing more people looking out for their safety.
There have also been reports that Asus are increasing the production of the ZenFone line to meet the growing demands of the market, and that’s certainly great to hear – the phone has a lot of potential, and it’s not just another entry into the smartphone market. The ZenFone devices can easily stand out on their own, and if the rumors about the ZenFone 3 are true, it should be an even more impressive and original entry into the line.
We can’t confirm what other special features the phone will have in addition to the fingerprint scanner – and even the scanner is under speculation right now as well – but whatever Asus have decided to do for the new phone, they will probably experiment a little bit with pushing the boundaries of their design in some areas.
They don’t even need to put a lot of effort into the ZenFone 3’s marketing, as the device already has a lot of hype surrounding its release, and it should be noticed immediately once it’s out. Of course, Asus should also make sure that the product corresponds to all that hype accordingly. It probably wouldn’t hurt to make an early announcement with a preview of some features, instead of letting the rumors roam around freely and then revealing everything in one go shortly before releasing the device. That way, people will at least know what to expect more realistically.
