Is Stan Lee Coming to Kingdom Hearts 3? Development of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Heavily Influenced by Community!

While Square Enix may be trying to be sneaky and secretive with the development of “Kingdom Hearts 3”, a lot of information about the upcoming game has still managed to find its way to the public, although pretty much all of it has been in the form of rumors so far. Up to this point, there have been rumors about characters ranging from Iron Man and Thor, all the way to Darth Vader, appearing in the new game.

The most recent rumors talk about Stan Lee, although the source for those seems to be somewhat questionable, so it’s not known if there’s any credibility to this information. Meanwhile, rumors regarding other characters have been coming from more reliable places, even though nothing has been confirmed by Square Enix yet. However, it would make sense for Stan Lee to show up in the new game, as he has been in Marvel’s productions quite a lot, and it’s been speculated for a while that Square Enix may be considering him for the new game.

Meanwhile, the success of the remake “Kingdom Hearts 2.5D” has been undisputed, and it seems that Square Enix have managed to get the nostalgic senses of their fans going quite strongly with this release. And it would appear that the company has been very deliberately aiming in this direction with the game’s development, as there was a lot of focus on fan feedback in determining each step of the production.

According to an in interview with Tai Yasue, the company used the feedback they got for “Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD” as guidance for how to approach the development of the next game. The responses from critics and fans about the first remix have been highly positive, although this reportedly left Square Enix slightly confused over what to do about the next game, as they wanted to live up to the expectations that the first remix had set.

Kingdom Hearts 3

To say that the release of “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be an interesting one would be quite the understatement, as it seems that Square Enix are putting some serious effort into the new production, and are stepping up their effort on every front. And of course, the studio would have learned quite a lot from their previous releases by now, so the new game should demonstrate the experience they’ve accumulated. According to Tai Yasue, nothing is off-limits in the development of the new title, although he didn’t actually clarify what he meant with that comment. He specifically said he couldn’t reveal any specifics, although whatever changes the studio has planned for the franchise, they will become apparent soon enough.
