The three characters might not have shared a lot of screen time together, but they captured the heart of the audience with their chemistry. Fans are happy to know that they will get to watch Deadpool back in action with Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Movie Web reported that Deadpool 2 might limit the number of X-Men. The writers do not want Deadpool 2 to be crammed with the X-Men since that would take away the attention from Deadpool and he is a character who is capable of carrying the film on his shoulders.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick spoke to Collider and said that they don’t want to include bigger characters into Deadpool 2. Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead are a part of the film mostly because of their relationship with Wade.
If the writers find a reason to include X-Men characters and find it justified enough, only then will they go ahead with it. They do not want to force anything and reduce the charm of the sequel.
Deadpool connected with the audience, and the writers don’t want to make it a full-blown action film. They want things to look natural and the audience to enjoy the absence of the fourth wall.
