Method acting is a popular technique among professional actors, and Jared Leto in particular is known to be quite fond of it. The technique is quite successful for certain types of roles that call for a deeper emotional representation of the character, and it can do a lot to help a character truly come to life when the actor performs it correctly.
And now, we’re hearing rumors that Jared Leto is going to be relying on this technique quite heavily in his work as the Joker in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” film. We’ve been hearing various rumors about the actor in his role as the Joker, as well as some more official reports – and there was even an alleged leaked picture which drew a lot of attention but as it turned out, it wasn’t all that genuine.
Fans of the DC Comics universe have been very eager to see how Jared Leto is going to represent one of the most iconic characters from it, and it looks like they’re going to get a spectacular performance indeed. Of course, everyone is aware of the fact that Leto is under a lot of pressure for his role as the Joker, and everyone is expecting quite a lot from the actor.
With so much attention focused on him, this can easily turn into one of his most memorable roles – or, on the other hand, it could also end up drawing a lot of negativity towards the actor if his performance doesn’t quite live up to the expectations of fans. In any case, we expect Leto to give it his best, and we would be surprised if the actor is received anywhere close to negatively once he delivers this performance.
With the help of method acting, he should be able to do a solid job in the end, and the fact that the character he’s portraying is so complex and multi-layered should actually add to the likelihood of seeing something truly amazing from him.
Meanwhile, we recently saw some new footage showing Leto driving a special edition purple Infiniti G35, and we also saw Ben Afleck’s Batman in that footage as well, so the question of whether we’re going to see the character in the new film can finally be put to rest.
So far, it’s shaping up to be a very interesting production, even though there was some initial skepticism towards some specific aspects of it, such as Leto’s potential performance and Batman’s presence. If everything goes according to plan, we should see something quite enjoyable once “Suicide Squad” hits the theaters.
