It’s also worth noticing that the timing of Mary Jane’s involvement in the latest “Invincible Iron Man” comic book issue is incidentally aligned with Spider-Man’s cameo in the third installment of Captain America where the great divide will occur and the web-slinger, played by Tom Holland, will side with Iron Man.
But rumors will have to stay that way until the fourth issue of the “Invincible Iron Man” comes out in December. If reports are true that the next Iron Man film will follow the comic book’s storyline, then Marvel Studios and Disney still have quite a lot of time before they hit their target date.
As for the man in the iron suit himself, it might take a while before fans could get to see him star in his own movie again as talks between Downey and Marvel Studios show no signs of being finalized yet. However, once the deal is sealed, fans can expect more news about the latest installment of Iron Man to come out.
Until then, fans can catch Downey’s Iron Man battle it out with Chris Evans’ Captain America regarding the U.S. Government’s Superhero Registration Act when “Captain America: The Civil War” hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
Tony and MJ shouldn’t become a couple in the MCU!
