Rumors about “Iron Man 4” are getting more exciting, and the film might include some surprising appearances if what we’re currently hearing turns out to be true. One of the more recent claims that we’ve heard is that Chris Evans could show up in the film, as the actor has apparently expressed interest in joining the production if it does indeed get greenlit.
This could have some interesting implications for other parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is why some fans have been discussing the possibility with more interest. If this does indeed happen, it could mean that Captain America will survive the events of “Civil War”, and this alone has led some fans to talk about the future of the film side of the Marvel Universe with a new perspective lately, as there are some peculiar possibilities for how things might turn out if this is the situation in the end.

It’s even been said that the negotiations for Downey Jr.’s salary have been the main reason for the delay of the film’s announcement, but considering that we’ve been hearing those rumors for a few months now, we’re starting to doubt whether or not that’s the actual reason why “Iron Man 4” hasn’t arrived to the screen yet. It’s entirely possible that there are other factors at play too, including ones that we know nothing about, and if the film does get announced it could also come with some changes to the setup and cast. These changes could be motivated by a desire to make this a relatively low-risk production by taking away some of the factors that led to the downfall of the previous two installments in the franchise. Looking back, it could probably be determined why “Iron Man 2” and 3 were not as popular as the first one, and what could have been done wrong.
It’s also interesting to note that the possibilities for seeing an “Iron Man” film with an even more interesting configuration nowadays are even greater, as lately we’ve started to see franchises getting mixed up in some very curious ways. As some critics have pointed out, superheroes have started to appear in each other’s productions quite regularly now and we might see some interesting mixes later on.

Iron Man and Rescue should team-up and fight and kill ALL of the Ten Rings soldiers in Iron Man 4! Iron Man needs to have a long, epic showdown with the REAL Mandarin in Iron Man 4 after he and Rescue kill the entire Ten Rings organization. Iron Man needs to be the one ending up killing the REAL Mandarin in Iron Man 4. After Iron Man kills the REAL Mandarin, Tony Stark proposes to Pepper Potts and asks her to marry him, and then she accepts his marriage proposal. Tony Stark gets married to Pepper Potts and her new official name is Virginia “Pepper” Stark. Then Tony and Pepper Stark live happily ever after. The end. Iron Man 4 would make a perfect quadrilogy finale to the Iron Man Quadrilogy.
