Supermodel Irina Shayk has gotten rid of her brunette locks and is now living her blonde ambition.
The 30-year-old model ditched her dark brown hue and opted for a lighter shade which she debuted on Instagram last Saturday.
Not only did she go platinum, the Russian beauty also chopped her long hair. Her photo on Instagram shows that Shayk got a clean, shoulder-length crop and wore her hair in beachy waves.
Irina definitely looked different with her new do, but she still looks high fashion nonetheless. Her dark eyebrows popped out more because of her lighter hair shade.
The Swimsuit Edition Sports Illustrated cover girl tagged fashion photographers Mert and Marcus in her photo.
Irina also posted another photo where she flaunts her new hair-do. In the photo, she was joined by photographer Mert Alas.
It still not clear if the former brunette went blonde as a requirement for work or if she did it just to give herself an extreme makeover.
However, Alas hinted that Shayk’s hair shake-up might only be for a certain project and that she might go back being a brunette sooner than expected.
Taking a page from Irina’s book is Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber. The 14-year-old model experimented going blonde with the help of a wig.
Gerber posted a photo on Instagram donning her platinum wig and assured everyone that her long brunette locks are still intact. The model and her mom are expected to make the cover of Vogue’s April issue.
Meanwhile, Shayk’s beau, Bradley Cooper, has yet to comment on her lady love’s new locks. The last time the pair was spotted was sometime last week and the Russian supermodel was still in her signature brown hair.

The 41-year-old actor looks clearly smitten with his girlfriend as he couldn’t keep his eyes off her while walking through the city’s iconic West Village in the spring sunshine.
Bradley was definitely making the most of his downtime away from the set of the upcoming movie “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” The film is expected to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
The film is the sequel to 2014’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cooper will reprise his role as the voice of Rocket, a genetically-engineered raccoon bounty hunter.
Aside from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel, the “American Hustle” star is also lending his voice for the upcoming film entitled “A Dog’s Purpose.” Joining him in the film is Britt Robertson, Dennis Quaid, Peggy Lipton, and Juliet Rylance.
The film is based on the 2010 novel of the same title and will be directed by Lasse Hallstrom. The film is expected to debut next year.
The “Aloha” actor also has an upcoming film this year entitled “War Dogs” in which he will serve as a producer. “War Dogs” is directed by Todd Phillips and stars Miles Teller, Jonah Hill, Ana de Armas, and J.B. Blanc.
During their time together in New York, the four-time Oscar nominee sported a blue bomber jacket with a white tee, navy chinos, and a pair of trainers. The “American Sniper” actor accentuated his look with a white cap and a pair of sunglasses.
His girlfriend kept her ensemble very chic with a laid-back undertone, a gray knitted top, and black leggings to showcase her long and toned legs.
The model capped her outfit with a pair of black lace-up trainers and accessorized with a plain black scarf and a pair of dark shades.
The two were also spotted hiding their faces away from the paparazzi while their hands were interlocked and were all smiles while chatting with each other.
