While there have been some public appearances of the two in various small events, nothing noteworthy has happened in this context in the last few months. Until recently, when the couple was spotted attending the LFP football wards together.
The event, held at the Principe Felipe auditorium in Spain, saw Ronaldo receiving a multitude of awards for his professional performance, including Best Player and Best Goal. The awards were for his participation in the last season of the Liga BBVA. His partner stood by his side and supported the football player throughout the whole event, appearing in a classy red dress with small, but delicate and stylish accessories that really complemented her overall style.
While most photos from the event show the two looking rather seriously, Shayk was actually quite enthusiastic in expressing her support for her boyfriend, cheering him on as he was receiving his various awards, and looking obviously proud of his achievements. Ronaldo himself stated that he was very satisfied with how the night proceeded, as he later posted comments about the event in which he was obviously happy with the awards. The player didn’t make any specific remarks about his experiences with other footballers during the night, even though some of his fans were expecting negative exchanges between him and Lionel Messi, his main rival at the moment.
The recipient of the “Fifa Ballon d’Or Award” was highly debated this time, and there was a lot of speculation over who would get it, Ronaldo or Messi. Some experts were convinced that the award would go to Ronaldo, however, and stated that there was no doubt about this from the very beginning. Of course, Ronaldo and Messi have remained good sports over the events, despite the rivalry between the two, and there have been no negative exchanges, at least in public.
