Irina Shayk. The name causes guys to sigh and girls to fume. She is a Russian model and the pin-up girl for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The reason for her being the object of your envy doesn’t stop there. She is also the long-term girlfriend of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
She was born Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova, on January 6, 1986. In spite of being Russian by birth, she has a distinctive Brazilian look, for which she credits her Tartar lineage on her father’s side. Tartar’s are dark complexioned and often look like Brazilians.
Ever since replacing Ana Beatriz Barros to becoming the face of Intimissimi in 2007, there has been no turning for her. She has appeared in every annual edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since then. She became the first Russian model to be featured in the cover of the magazine back in 2011.
Irina Shayk catapulted into the public limelight after she started dating Cristiano Ronaldo from May 2010. Being a long term girlfriend of such a world renowned footballer is no easy task with every move and sighting being scrutinised by the media.
Irina and Ronaldo haven’t been very public about their relationship, but they recently did a photo shoot together for a famous magazine. The duo came together for celebrity photographer Mario Testino for an intimate photo shoot. When questioned why they opted to such a shoot, when they try to keep their personal life away from the public eye, Irina Shayk said that posing nude is part of her profession and it was no different doing it with Ronaldo. Moreover, they agreed to do it only for their good friend, Testino.
Irina Shayk revealed in an interview that she preferred tennis to football. She would rather watch Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer play than watch football. She loved holidaying with her boyfriend in Portugal and would be open to film offers. She had recently starred as Megara in the film Hercules.
You will laugh out loud when you find out that Irina loves to eat. She can’t get enough of hamburgers and chicken nuggets. You can instantly connect with her when she says that hitting the gym in the morning is a struggle. To keep herself fit and maintain fitness, she works on the Pilates machine and with her personal trainer.
The 28-year-old was recently spotted at West Village, Manhattan, in a cosy looking jumper, a pair of leggings and a pair of knee-length suede boots. She was seen talking on the phone and sipping on a healthy fruit smoothie.

She’s stunning! I saw her in NYC with no makeup and she’s a natural beauty! She does not like working out and she was blessed with amazing genes! She probably doesn’t have to work out as much but does it for her job! One other note she does have Brazillian blood in her!!
