Irina Shayk, the pin-up girl for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, is a vivacious Russian Supermodel and the long-time girlfriend of famous footballer, Christiano Ronaldo. Irina Shayk, born Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova has excellent Brazilian features on her sculpted physique, for which she credits her father’s Tartar Lineage.
She attained fame when she replaced Ana Beatriz Barros and featured as the face of Intimissimi during 2007. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit had her in each of their Annual Edition issues since then. She is known as the first Supermodel of Russian origin to be featured in the cover of the magazine in 2011.
Presently, Irina Shayk, now 28, turned heads at a charity event hosted by ASPCA or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She took her time, showing off her gorgeous legs while wearing a leather pencil skirt with a black turtleneck sweater on top.
She sported a pair of black pointed toe-pumps, easily matching her wonderful outfit. Her makeup was kept to a bare minimum with simply a touch of liner on her attractive electric-green eyes. Her hair was also kept quite simple, tied in the shape of an elegant bun.
There was something else that turned a few more heads while she arrived in this ASPCA charity event. This was in the form of an arm candy, a rather cute pooch named Toast. Its trademark floppy tongue has brought her a considerable amount of additional fame. She has been a dedicated member, as was evident in this charity event. Irina made sure she looked her usual sexy self while she was present there.
Irina Shayk and Ronaldo have never made their relationship too public, but the couple was lately involved in a photo-shoot for Mario Testino, a celebrity photographer. Irina displayed her friendly side while she happily socialized with many canine friends on the event of Young Friends benefit. She was seen hugging and cuddling with them amiably while many around her hoped they could have replaced these amazingly lucky canines.
The annual event by ASPCA attracts a large crowd of mobile youthful professionals, all of whom are proud animal lovers. InterActiveCorp headquarters in Chelsea served as the location for this particular event.
The event came with its various attractions like art, music, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres along with a silent auction as well. The event also featured various creatures that were in need of a home and ready for adoption. Before attending this event, Irina uploaded a photo on Instagram featuring a woman kissing a dog. She captioned the photo mentioning that she was proud to be a member of the Host Committee for the ASPCA Young Friends benefit.
