According to a recently published study, it tries to set apart the politics and look at what makes or breaks health insurance markets in five different states. The Brookings Institution Researchers looked at state markets, thinking that if the goal were to repair or have the ACA replaced with something more advanced, it would be great to understand what worked and what failed.

A senior fellow at Brookings Institution who headed the project said that the political process presently isn’t generating a conversation regarding how to have a better replacement for the Affordable Care Act. It is quite a problem, and there are people with different points of view, but they have to sit down together and ask how to finally make it work.
