Recently, Iggy Azalea came out with the announcement that she had gotten breast implants in an interview with Vogue. The news quickly started spreading, and many people were eager to discuss what they had just heard – but the rapper herself is apparently completely confident in her decision and comfortable with her body right now. She claims to be happy with the way things have turned out for her after the surgery, and in the end, that’s all that matters.
According to Azalea, the surgery was done about four months ago, but she had been planning it for much longer than that. Apparently, it’s been on her mind for a long time and she had finally decided to go through with the procedure after much deliberation, but had no regrets about it afterwards.
The only thing she wasn’t sure about after her surgery was whether or not she should reveal it to the public, but in the end she decided she gained nothing from keeping it a secret, and she wasn’t a very secretive person in general so the idea didn’t appeal to her.
Iggy Azalea also claimed that she had previously considered trying out in modeling after some encouragement from her friends, but she was apparently rejected by all modeling agencies she tried applying to due to her body proportions. It’s good to see that this hasn’t created any image issues for the rapper though, and she was able to get a grip on her appearance and define her looks just the way she wants to be.
She went on to talk about her work, saying that she has recently been working alongside Britney and this has been a huge inspiration for her to release more of her own work. Apparently, the two now live close to each other and they keep bumping into one another on the street, which has led to a friendly relationship developing between the two.
She also said that she has managed to overcome the issues plaguing her around the release of her first album, and her work on her second one has been coming along much more smoothly. Which is certainly good to hear, because she has a large number of fans that have been eagerly waiting for any kind of news from the rapper about her new release.
We don’t know when the album will be ready yet, but according to Azalea, she’s aiming to have it out by the end of 2015, but couldn’t commit to that release date strictly. We also have no idea how far along she is with the album’s production, though rumors claim that she is more than halfway done with her work.
