Huawei Honor 4C Releases in China, Good Overall Deal According to Initial Responses!

Asians have been enjoying various great deals on the smartphone market recently, especially from their own local manufacturers. Plenty of new releases have come out on the market recently, most at great price points, and Huawei in particular have been serving the market quite well. The recent release of the Honor 4C was met with a lot of positivity among Android fans as well as critics, and the phone has been called a great deal for its money overall.

Its price point is quite attractive to begin with – at just CNY 799 – or roughly $130 – it’s a great bargain for the kind of hardware that it packs, as it comes with a 720p display spanning 5 inches, an 8-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 13 MP rear camera. All in all, a much better deal than what most manufacturers are offering for the same price, and it also has a microSD slot and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, although with modifications from Huawei.

There are also several color options for the device, including black, blue, gold, pink and white, and people have been posting great reviews of it all over the Internet so far. No major problems have been reported by any users until now, although it’s a little too early in the release to say for sure that the phone is problem-free.

Additionally, it should be noted that this will likely be a China-exclusive release. There is no indication that Huawei are planning to launch the phone outside of China, and it looks like the company is quite comfortable in their current market situation, satisfying their local customers while also making a good impression around the world as a whole. Many people have been eager to get their hands on their own copy of the Honor 4C, but for those who live outside of China, that might be a difficult ordeal.

We’re certainly curious to see what the Asian smartphone market is going to bring out next, as it’s been evolving more and more rapidly, with various companies releasing products that easily rival the offers of most American manufacturers. And while it’s certainly disappointing to see some of the better deals being made exclusive to China, it’s also good to see that these manufacturers are taking care of their local market and supporting it.

In the end, the success of the Honor C4 might prompt Huawei to try a launch outside of the country, but we wouldn’t bet on that right now. They could also try developing another phone meant for external markets, which would make more sense according to experts, and some are even already expecting that to happen.
