HTC One M8, M9 Getting the Android 5.1.1 Soon, M9 Users Already Receiving It!

But, for the time being, the company should continue to focus on equalizing the Android version across all of their devices, as their users have been hoping for some more recent software for some time now. This is a common problem on the Android market, as it’s not rare for a company to find it difficult to keep their Android up to date on all of their devices.

Which can cause some additional market segmentation if it’s not taken care of adequately, as people will eventually start focusing on specific phones just because of their Android version, ignoring others with objectively better capabilities.

Hopefully this isn’t going to happen with HTC’s One M8, which was a very stable release on the Android market. Even though its successor was slightly less impressive than people were hoping for, it was still a relatively good device.

But it was far from the Android powerhouse that some were expecting, given the quality that we saw in the HTC One M8. That phone is still known as one of the most attractive offers on the Android market, and for a good reason. Hopefully, the company is going to get back on track for their future releases, and they’re going to release another flagship that shakes up the market like the M8 did.
