HTC One M10 Wants to Erase the Stigma of the Complaint-Ridden HTC One M9!

Accordingly, the HTC One M10 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which will be a first in any smartphone, and also a groundbreaking 27-megapixel rear-facing camera, another first among flagship smartphones. There are reports that the screen display of the HTC One M10 will also sport a 4K resolution, which means it will have at least a 1440 x 2560-pixel resolution, also referred to as QHD.

The upcoming HTC flagship shall reportedly come with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB or 128GB internal storage with an option for expansion through a microSD slot.

The phone shall have a generous 3,500 mAH battery and will come out of the box with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It shall also have a USB Type-C port, which has become a standard feature among the current flagships of today.

Another interesting report about the HTC One M10 is that it might not even be called as One M10 at all. Instead, it is to be called simply as HTC O2, based on the disclosure made by a Chinese website called MyDrivers.

But whether HTC O2 is just an internal codename or the Taiwanese tech company is now planning to veer away from its One M branding remains unclear.

However, everything about the HTC One M10 remains speculations at this point so unless HTC officially comes out with an announcement or statement to either confirm or deny the reports involving the specifications of its upcoming flagship smartphone, all information should be taken with a grain of salt.

  1. with a 3500 battery that would mean i not need to buy a Mophie battery back again (as it makes my phone HTC M7 very bulky) and the CPU been the 820 should hope its cooler as well, as a 3500 battery should make it last Easy a day (not just another iPlug device as apple devices are known for)

i still own the HTC M7 (phone is now powering off at 30%) i was never going to buy the M8 as it has a poor cam as M7 and little bit battery life and the M9 using a Hot CPU, not sure if power save CPU Option lowers the CPU enough to prevent overheat protection kicking in {battery stops charging as happens on my HTC M7 when navigating and no Airflow over the phone} i find it silly that you need a Fan on phones to stop them from overheating (i some times have to Hold my phone in front of my Air Vent until it cools down and this happens when its Cold whether ) there should be an option to reduce power usage so it reduces heat when its getting closer to thermal limits (to prevent prolong battery damage due to high temperature witch i like whats happened to my HTC M7 phone)
